Maine Artist Bruce Robert Coffin
Bruce was recently commissioned by the New England Chapter of the FBI National Academy (FBINAA) to paint a portrait of Special Agent Edwin Shanahan to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the FBI. The finished painting titled: "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity" was presented to the Boston division SAC Warren Bamford at the FBINAA New England Chapter Christmas Party on December 4th, 2008. A large limited edition print of "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity" will be permanently hung in the Hall of Honor at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
In 2008, Bruce was awarded a first prize in the professional category at the 2nd annual city of Portland national arts program exhibit for his entry "back bay sunrise."
In March 2010, Bruce was awarded third prize in the professional category at the 4th annual city of Portland national arts program exhibit for his entry "True Love."
In March 2011, Bruce was awarded second prize in the professional category at the 5th annual city of Portland national arts program exhibit for his entry "Officer Spike (Protecting A Great City)."
